Clinical Supervisor
Hello, I’m Bridget and welcome to this space. Beginning therapy can feel risky, and choosing to reach out for support during a time of need takes real courage.
I approach suffering as a vulnerable and sacred space in a person’s story. My work is grounded in Relational Psychoanalysis, which emphasizes the healing potential of a consistent and attuned therapeutic relationship that honors one’s unique feelings, needs, and experiences. I also draw on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Somatic Experiencing, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to support clients in releasing stress held in the nervous system and moving toward a sense of wholeness in the present moment. With a relational and embodied approach to therapy, I support individuals navigating anxiety, depression, complex and developmental trauma, and relationship challenges.
When working with children, I use both non-directive and directive play therapy to address concerns such as anxiety, depression, attachment wounds, and ADHD. I also partner with families by offering evidence-based and practical tools to support effective parenting and improve the child-parent relationship.
I believe that by welcoming every part of yourself into a safe, consistent, and accepting space, a person can begin to experience and appreciate the fullness of who they are. I look forward to accompanying you on this beautiful and transforming journey of healing.
